enIEDnoreply@ied.itIED RSS Service© 2007 Istituto Europeo di Designnoreply@ied.ithttp://www.ied.edu/Courses/Design/Summer-Courses/Venice/Product Design (English language)/info.html?courseId=DSG764E1 Jan 2000 00:00:00 GMT <p>This course is set out as an intensive experience, aimed at placing students within a project studio atmosphere.</p> <p> </p> <p>The course proposes 3 concentrated, diverse workshop experiences, each lead by a different project leader, an expert designer that will guide students through the process, from the concept to the final model, on to the communication strategy and product launch.</p> <p> </p> <p>Each workshop will take into consideration a different design issue, bringing students to confront themselves with different targets, materials and production techniques.</p> <p> </p> <p>The projects will be supported by analysis on material technology and innovation, trend research, computer aided design and model making laboratories. The course also includes conferences, insitu visits and visiting professors, to allow students to gain complete acquaintance of Italian productive reality, rich in history and promoter of the most skilful contemporary realisations.</p>
