Accessories are now a major and highly varied industry in their own right. The way we dress ourselves and our possessions these days is moving away from the concept of the status symbol and towards the new model of lifestyle.

As a result, accessory and shoes designers must combine their expertise and design skills with the ability to express contemporary society?s sensations and emotions in their products. These professionals follow all the phases of production, from the first concept through the creative elaboration and the feasibility study to controlling the prototype, dialoguing competently with all the various specialised professionals involved in the different fields of design and production.

Fashion designers create styles, aesthetic concepts suitable for the human body, and combine technique and creativity to design clothing and accessory collections.

Gemstones and precious metals acquire elegance and character when subjected to the creative skills of the jewellery designer. Very curious by nature, these professionals attribute meanings to the system of signs and languages present in our everyday lives. By searching out and combining precious materials and synthetic stones, glassware, resins and other materials, they enrich the individual’s personal image with small, telling details.
