Foreign students Turin
All foreign students, even those who do not need a visa to enter Italy, must go to any police station in the province where they choose to take up residence and make a formal declaration of their presence in the country, no more than eight working days after arriving in Italy and, at the same time, apply for a residence permit.
Before courses start, foreign students must get an appointment with the the Information and Orientation Service to organise a meeting with the IED’s staff. The Information and Orientation Service is open to students from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., Monday to Friday, at the following addresses:
