The Foreigner Identity Card or Student Card, which will apply for once you are in Spain, is valid for the duration of the course (not more than one year) and is renewed every year, if you meet all the requirements of the government civil. The requirements for the card:
-Duly completed application (visit the website, extranjeros.mtas.es, clicking on “procedimientos y solicitudes” or requested by email to infoext.barcelona @ map.es)
Copy of passport or valid document for entry into Spain.
-The student visa (which you have previously purchased in your country)
-Official letter from the city center you have been accepted. In this case a letter from IED with your name and the duration of the course you’re going to do (never less than three months).
-If you are a minor, permission from your parents or guardians for your move to Spain and to carry out your studies.
-Three passport photos
-“Empadronamiento”
