IED Madrid, Private Centre for Higher Art and Design Education, offers:
* Official Undergraduate Degrees in Design, Fashion and Visual Communication (4 years 240 ECTS):
Official qualified degrees recognised at university level in the European Space for Higher Education, which its aim is to transform students’ passion, talent and creativity in knowledge and abilities that allow them to develop their professional career in the fields of design and communication.
The IED Madrid offers the opportunity to enjoy agreements with partner universities from all over the world throught the ERASMUS PROGRAM and the Exchange Study Program. The very high level of our graduates’ work integration confirms the quality of our educative model. IED Official Undergraduate Degrees in Design (4 years) are fully legally recognised as official universtiy qualifications, and enable students to access both the state and private work market.
* IED Diploma:
Three-year courses which aim to provide students with the knowledge, cultural understanding and technical tools needed to enter the professional world at a high level. Project culture is at the heart of our training methodology, enabling us to train new professionals as demanded by the present market in fields such as Fashion and Communication.
* Master Courses:
Our design, fashion and communication Master courses and advanced formation courses present high quality study programs, in a wide range of subjects concerning design, fashion and communication.
They are conceived as investigation or deepening paths in the knowledge and abilities, strictly oriented to specified subjects and development attitudes for the professional growth of students. They are characterized by its intensity and by giving the opportunity to the student to get in contact with leader companies and professionals of high level which offer the possibility of practices and scholarships.
They are directed to graduates, professionals, particulars as an opportunity of growth and personal enrichment.
*One-Year courses:
During an academic year we cover all design and communication areas from the theoretical and practical point of view: fashion, interior and product design, photography, visual arts, advertising and marketing.
They are basic courses, directed to all people who want to include all fundamental subjects of design, and culture of the project. These courses give the option to realize a bridge course, specified in the area of own interest (fashion, visual arts, etc.), which will give direct access to the second year of our 3 years courses.
*Summer courses combine academic experience in design, fashion and communication, with the cultural and artistic life of Madrid during two or three weeks in July.We raise these courses joining theory and practice with professionals of the sector.Inner and outer cultural activities which gives you an enriched personal experience.
*Specialization courses are short courses that start in different moments of the academic year, they are directed to form a wide profile of students. With specialization courses we give an answer to the managerial demand which need qualified professionals on concrete subjects of different disciplines of design, fashion and communication.
They offer theoretical-practical tools which allow students to get profesionally into every different reference field. They also offer introduction courses to people who want to know a new sector.
The formation of our design , fashion and communication courses is based on three fundamental objectives:

By this way students go overcoming learning stages through direct experiences in the managerial reality while they elaborate their works portfolio.
