The Master of Product Design Labs teaches students to form ideas and define product development projects down to the last detail. It trains designers to have initiative and entrepreneurial sensibilities, in order to succeed in the real world. Starting with their own project or one that has been assigned to them, students manage the product industrialization process in its entirety, fully completing each project phase, and collaborating with specialized professionals in order to strengthen their research, conceptualization and communication skills.

Designed for: professionals in the world of design, in the broadest sense, who either have an academic background or extensive professional experience in at least one area of design. It is also intended for people with provable experience in related areas. This Master’s was conceived as a multidisciplinary, international program, located on the frontier between design and business management.

The methodology of the Master of Product Design Labs is practical, dynamic and encompasses the totality of its learning experiences in a personal thesis project. It includes diverse didactic activities that foment individual and group work, as well as a specialized faculty consisting of active professionals with international experience.

Students of the Master of Product Design Labs learn to: manage and coordinate interdisciplinary teams; strengthen their identity as creative professionals; build trend maps of European design and culture; anticipate and interpret future scenarios; establish personal contacts with diverse European professionals; and conceptualize, develop and communicate innovative ideas.

The program includes three trips ranging in length from 3 to 7 days to different international destinations. The tickets and lodging during the trips are included in the price.

Professional Opportunities
Upon completing the Master’s program, students are qualified to work as Senior Designer at a design studio or company; Senior Designer at any company or professional studio interested in project development, processes, services, strategies, or lines of communication; Design Manager; Project Manager; Product Manager; Design Consultant; or Freelance Designer, producing their own ideas.
