Society demands products, services and business ideas that respond to changes in technology, design, innovation and sustainability; companies must integrate these changes into their processes, human resources, work spaces, and relationships with suppliers, etc.

The fundamental key of the Master of Strategic Design Labs is the concept of innovation, structured in four areas: Knowledge, Technology, Global Vision and Design. Students of the Strategic Design Labs Master Course learn to: bring together a business and creative vision; manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams; strengthen their identity as creative professionals; build trend maps with a business vision; anticipate and interpret future scenarios; establish personal contacts with diverse professionals; and conceptualize, develop and communicate innovative ideas.

Airfare and accommodations for the trips are included in the price. The IED Madrid also organizes a fourth optional trip to San Francisco and Silicon Valley.
