Communication Design Labs
Credits: 90 | Start date: January 2014 | Duration: 11 months | Language: EnglishThe Master of Communication Design Labs provides the keys for learning how to manage the complexity of inter-connected disciplines in creative processes, to learn, master and recover language resources and their application, and to lead the management of multidisciplinary teams. This MA aims to give rise to a new professional profile to cover the communication needs of new business structures, where concepts and languages are increasingly coming together.
Designed for: professionals and graduates in any of the specializations within the world of commercial communications, from traditional to interactive advertising, public relations, marketing, graphic design and product design. This Master’s was conceived as a multidisciplinary, international program, located on the frontier between design and communications.
Companies in all industries need a different figure of the Creative Director, a person who is capable of coordinating and dialoguing with diverse specialists working in the same environment. The challenge is to break through the boundaries that have been created among disciplines, reaching a way of thinking more focused on managing processes that drive creativity, strategies and business.
The Master of Comunication Design Labs teaches students through a range of activities such as: workshops, seminars, cases studies, master classes, trips, visits and the development of a research thesis. At the end of this educational journey, students will be able to manage and coordinate inter-disciplinary teams to conceptualize, develop and communicate innovative ideas; lead multidisciplinary teams; build and communicate lasting concepts; design long-term strategies; establish personal contacts with diverse professionals in a creative environment; and “un-specialize” and “un-learn” in order to have a broader vision.
Trips: The MA includes some trips and excursions to national and international destinations depending on the contents and the needs of the programme (the transfers and accommodation are included in the price of the MA).
Language: Classes will be held in English and/or Spanish
