The main aim of this Master course is to give rise to a new generation of designers.

It means professionals who cares of human behaviour, new languages and environmental changes and who are capable of relating themselves to the economic system generating an advanced Design culture covering both ethics, social and environmental values.

The Master course gives students the possibility to increase and to compare their previous experience with the one of the Italian Design culture.

Different cross-experiences are provided by the Master course plan of studies. By ranging over many fields, from the space project to the product one, these cross-subjects help designers to widen their Design system vision and knowledge.

Target

IED Master course is designed for italian and foreign graduates from universities and equivalent private schools even if in fields not linked to design. It's also addressed to professionals with at least a three-years sector working experience.

The Master course first part offers a sequence of lessons aiming to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of both cultural and practical subjects.

Through different workshops organized as real professional experiences, the second part of the course focuses on Design methodology stressing on those requirements fundamental to create a strong concept, basis for a project involving real innovation values both on the Product and on the Interior fields.

Among lessons and workshops the master course plan of studies offers some visits to industrial production sites linked to the projects, visits to trade fairs and cultural exhibitions.
