2022-2023

A two-seater car that defies convention, standing out for its essentiality that recalls the timeless appeal of classics without forgetting a strong sporting vocation.

Alisea is the concept car created by the students of the Master in Transportation Design A.A. 2022/2023 at IED Turin in collaboration with Pagani Automobili, the result of a path that involved 24 young designers and interlocutors of the carmaker for months of intense work to imagine the evolution of the Zonda, 25 years after the launch of the model that redefined the standards towards new levels of style and performance.

Alisea is a unique, clean and legible volume with positive sections in any portion of the bodywork, a trend increasingly unheard of in this car category. The dynamic shape of the two-seater is bordered by an elliptical graphic element that ideally connects the front to the rear, framing a teardrop-shaped cockpit that ends in the iconic four-tailpipe circular exhaust. The surface treatment, inspired by sculptural masterpieces of industrial design, sinuously envelops both the driver and the powerful AMG 12-cylinder mid-mounted endothermic engine in a V-shaped arrangement.

The front headlamps, which enclose full LED lighting elements, revisit the distinctive milled bulbs with a surface approach that follows the hood, while the rear light clusters recall Leonardo da Vinci'sproportions, developing into a series of backlit parametric elements. The aerodynamic appendages consist of active spoilers, sill skirts and splitters that frame the car's silhouette. The paintwork emphasizes the subdivision of the aerodynamic part, hiding the spoiler from the side view to lend cohesion to the overall design and lighten the volumetric feel.
