The Master Course in Interior Yacht Design aims at training professionals able to apply the naval project techniques and tools to the most innovative design, to follow all different aspects of a project of interior design by interacting with other professional profiles, from the concept to the executive drawings, up to the concrete realization on site.
The Master Course in Interior Yacht Design aims at giving a specialized training in the field of the Interior Yacht Design by developing naval architectural and engineering skills oriented to the realization of the interior and the spaces.
The Master Course in Interior Yacht Design is addressed to graduates, final-year university students in Architecture and Engineering, graduates from technical schools with naval course of study or coming from courses of Interior Design, and professionals working in the field. It is required the knowledge of software for two/three-dimensional technical design (Autocad, Rhinoceros and similar) in addition to graphical ones.
The training pathway of the Master Course in Interior Yacht Designuses a dynamic and effective methodology including theoretical lessons, practical individual or group exercises, laboratory activities, seminars, participation in naval fairs, experiences on sailing boats, visits to naval sites, to design studios and companies producing components for the field and the naval interior design, and a final examination.
The project is divided into three Areas: Preliminary – naval Architecture; Teaching of Interior Yacht Design; Project and Communication. The educational activities of the Master Course in Interior Yacht Design are integrated with thematic workshops and a series of seminaries in order to develop some aspects of the industry.

Founder of Duck Design studio. He started his activity in the field in 1974 and, until 1990, he devoted himself to the planning of IOR rowing-boats, winners of many national and international championships. From 1990 to date, he has devoted himself to the planning of IMS cruiser/racer sail boats, winners of 3 World Championships and of many Italian championships. In the last years he has developed new projects and the refitting of both sailing and motor maxi-yachts. To date, 600 boats - one-off and standard ? created by Massimo Paperini have been launched.
