General information

IED Fashion, IED Design, IED Communications and IED Visual Arts are complete structures, each with its own training programmes, whose common denominator is their shared design culture.

Each one caters for the requirements of the labour market by creating training schedules tailor-made to suit the real needs of its respective benchmark sector: four creative communities with independent production systems featuring strong identities

Our innovative teaching method and the reciprocal synergies practised between our various schools, also by hosting joint seminars, projects, exhibitions and events, ensure that our students get a really good general grounding and complete, effective specific training.

The structure of the courses at Istituto Europeo di Design is organised to cater for the many different standard and advanced training requirements perceived both by young students about to embark on their careers for the first time and by mature students who are already well-launched on theirs. These are

- Three-Year Courses designed to come after completing secondary school: their task is to enable you to show creative enterprise as you make a successful, aware start on your professional career.

- Masters, Research Masters and Advanced Training courses are all designed to delve further into the theory and practice of their particular fields: they are organised in close partnership with related trade associations and target students preparing for graduation, new graduates and professional practitioners who want to develop specific skills or hone the ones they have, among other things by tackling projects and workshops created in partnership with market-leader firms and authorities.

- Annual, Continuining study programs and Summer school courses are refresher and specialisation courses that last a year, take place in the evening and are organised on the basis of modules. They include refresher seminars for students who want to upgrade and update their knowledge base about specific topics.
