IED São Paulo’s Master Programme in Industrial Design provides students with a critical and reflective formation in the creation and development of products. The field of Industrial Design requires an innovative attitude from professionals throughout all cycles in the project, taking into consideration the strategic management and the use of Design Thinking methodologies, as well as state-of-the-art technologies, materials, and sustainable practices.

The learning process proposed by the IED São Paulo is based on the “knowledge & know-how” approach, which has characterized the institution since its foundation in Milan, in 1966.

Description

Program

The Industrial Design master course programme is focused on the conceptual development and project of the Product Design by means of ethnographic studies, surveys on trends and consumer’s behavior, elaboration of real projects, case studies, technical visits, and discussions with renowned professionals in the segment and professors that outstand as references in their fields, many of which are awarded designers.

The Professional

The professional formed in the Graduate Course of Industrial Design by IED São Paulo must be qualified to meet a growing demand in the market for products and services of excellence, developed with state-of-the-art methodologies, processes, systems, and materials, in order to become experts, leaders, and entrepreneurs in the businesses they work with.

Techniques and Technology: Project Methodology, Representation Techniques (Sketch), Design Management, Ergonomics.
Projects: Projects of Furniture Design, Electronics Design, Packaging Design, etc.
