In this 4-year degree in Fashion Design, pathway in Fashion Styling and Communication you’ll learn how to interpret every facet of fashion according to society's demands. You’ll acquire a solid theoretical grounding and hands-on experience in a multicultural environment, ideal for developing an innovative, personal style that stands out from the crowd on the international market in an increasingly complex sector.

Taking the first steps in your future career, learning from lecturers who are working professional designers, stylists, photographers and journalists, gives you the perspective you need to find answers and propose solutions for new market demands and the trends of the future. What’s more, an IED BA in Fashion gives you the opportunity to use spectacular workshops where you can experiment with different tools and processes. You can also produce digital or 3D prints in the Hybrid Lab, and organise photo shoots at the Medialab.

There are 60 places available for first-year students majoring in Fashion Design. Of these places, there is no specific number assigned by pathway or language.

The program is divided into modules of complementary subjects, so you can concentrate on one project at a time. This helps you improve your concept development and implementation skills more effectively.

It’s a hands-on program, so as well as acquiring specific know-how you’ll gain experience developing experimental projects under the guidance of your lecturers, professional designers working in the fashion industry.

This program is for people who want to turn their vocation for fashion, aesthetics and creativity into a profession. You’ll learn to analyse and interpret trends, styles and dress codes.
