Throughout this course you will acquire some of the “classical” artistic techniques, such as acrylic painting or drawing, and other more contemporary ones, such as photography or digital tools, to reproduce the landscape, but not only, the course will help you to investigate the meaning of landscape, its aesthetic and philosophical nature which, in interaction with our perception, generates states of mind. 

Landscape represents the contextualisation of a way of looking at what is around us but, at the same time, of projecting into this gaze what is within us. Today the landscape is increasingly an inner lanscape. We owerselves are a fiorm of landscape and the specialised approach to landscape  seems to have migrated towards disciplines, which in addition to philosophy, include architecture, ecology, geography and anthropology. This is the context in which the course dedicated to the digital landscape is set, the relationship between cinema and landscape which, unlike painting, can stage not so much landscapes as ways of experiencing the landscape.

Target: The course is aimed at students from different educational backgrounds who have a passion for studying or deepening their knowledge of art subjects, photography, video drawing and new media. The course is also suitable for people with an interest for drawing and painting and the need to deepen certain techniques. 

Students must have a knowledge of Italian corresponding to B2 level in order to attend and benefit from the course.

Attendance: Lessons will be delivered from Monday to Friday, 3 hours a day, from 10:00 to 13:00 Italian time. 

Methodology and Structure: The course will take place entirely online, developed over a total of 15 hours divided into 5 days from Monday to Friday, each day the modules will be of three hours placed in the early afternoon. The lessons will take place at the Galli Academy premises both inside, in the laboratories, and outside. The lessons will be held by 5 different teachers, all professionals in their field, who will be able to develop the topics in their own field, thus bringing richness to the project. By choosing five teachers from the Academy, participants will be able to understand how many different approaches can be adopted to evaluate and interpret the same subject.

The Prove di Paesaggio course will be enriched by a collection of pre-recorded video lessons with IED faculty and IED Alumni on key disciplines of creativity: fashion, interior, product and graphic design, and a selection of cross-disciplinary subjects. 

The videos are designed to help you build a foundation in the creative fields, or to widen and develop your knowledge in different areas of creativity, in a self-paced learning.

Vive e lavora tra Milano e New York. Laurea di primo e secondo livello in Pittura e Arti visive presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera di Milano. Molti gli spazi pubblici e privati che hanno esposto il suo lavoro: Virginia Bianchi Gallery; Pablo’s Birthday Gallery; Dimora Artica; Galleria più; Federico Luger Gallery; The Border; Museo Archeologico di Nola; Museo d’Arte Contemporanea di Lissone; Museo d’Arte Moderna di Mantova,Winzavod Contemporary Art Center di Mosca. È membro attivo della rivista d’Arte E IL TOPO.

Alessandro Bellucco

Alessandro Bellucco
Dopo il diploma al Liceo Artistico di Savona si trasferisce a Firenze per diplomarsi in Pittura all’Accademia di Belle Arti nel 1992. Il suo trasferimento a Milano segna l’inizio di un percorso artistico con mostre collettive e personali in Italia e all’estero. Nel 2004 un nuovo trasloco in direzione sud verso Roma, cinque anni e poi, passando per Torino, il rientro a Milano dove vive e lavora tuttora. Dal 2002 insegna e collabora con Accademie di Belle Arti come docente di Anatomia Artistica e Pittura.  

Giuseppe Calgaro

Giuseppe Calgaro
Laureatosi in Filosofia a Venezia, con una tesi sull’esperienza estetica in Walter Benjamin, lavora come fotografo pubblicitario per riviste di lifestyle (Corriere, Dove, Sole 24 ore, Le Monde) e brands di moda (Diesel, Versace, Lebole, Bisazza etc.). Come artista con il nome di Fratelli Calgaro, ha esposto in diverse mostre collettive e personali in Italia e all’estero. Al centro delle immagini fotografiche della Fratelli Calgaro, c’è una ricerca che spinge la fotografia verso ossimori visivi partendo sempre dalla realtà dei luoghi e delle persone. Vive e lavora a Milano.  

Giovanni Cuoghi

Giovanni Cuoghi
He graduated in Pictorial Decoration at the State Institute of Art of Chiavari (Ge) and in Scenography at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, Milan. Between 1989 and 1992 he worked for some Italian magazines as an illustrator and attended the Disney Academy. He has been decorating and frescoing the interiors and exteriors of churches and noble palaces, reinterpreting the stylistic features of the great Baroque decoration until 2002. In the following years he has participated in numerous exhibitions receiving wide consents. He has held the chair of Pictorial Techniques at the Accademia Aldo Galli since October 2015.

Nominated to the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation’s Grants and Commissions Program. Has participated in international exhibitions including: Hutchinson Modern, NY; Smack Mellon, NY; A.I.R.
