Expand your creative universe at one of the best design schools in the world. Learn from the past, work in the present, anticipate the future. Research and experimentation to make your mark on the international fashion market.

Cultivate the look! Let your creative talent unfold in this BA (Hons) in Fashion Design. With a watchful eye on the reality of the fashion industry, you'll be looking to both past and present as a source of inspiration.

Studying with working professionals gives you the perspective you need to let your own designs take shape. You’ll have the chance to create your own collections right from the word “GO” in the very first year, acquiring intimate knowledge of textile materials and pattern-making techniques.

This 3-year project-based program culminates with your thesis and the collection you’ve created to be presented at a fashion show. What’s more, you have an option to work for a year in the fashion industry at the end of the second year. You’ll develop all the skills you need to take your first steps in the international fashion world.

Information to decide

The only program of its kind in Spain validated by the University of Westminster if you want to fully comprehend the creative and business aspects of the fashion industry in a hands-on learning experience.

In this 3-year program you’ll combine experimental projects and an insight into business under the guidance of your lecturers, all professionals working in the fashion sector.
This approach gives you a full understanding of the fashion industry and a solid theoretical grounding.
The program is divided into modules of complementary subjects, so you can concentrate on one project at a time, acquiring skills in each particular area as you go.

This program is for those who see fashion, aesthetics and creativity as the pillars of their identity. Specifically, it’s for those who want to turn their passion into a career, acquiring an intimate understanding of the fashion industry.

If you want to create your own collections, organise fashion events and get started in marketing and communication, this is the program for you. You can also use this 3-years course to lay the foundations to start developing your own fashion brand.

The IED community is in close contact with the contemporary fashion scene, putting you in exactly the right place to anticipate future aesthetic trends and find solutions for the new demands of this highly dynamic market.

Study fashion design at one of the best schools in the world, with lecturers eager to pass on their experience in the sector.

The city of Barcelona with its multicultural background defines the context of the program, and gives you a global perspective of the fashion industry.

You’ll be encouraged to create your own personal, innovative style with all the resources you need to develop your creative talent and stand out from the crowd on an increasingly complex international market.
