In this course, you’ll learn methods you can use to create unique experiences in the form of prototypes to be tested by users.

Service Design for Innovation is an intensive summer course taught in English. It focuses on the most innovation methodology used to design interesting, new services or improve the services currently being offered. This specialisation has quickly become fundamental to all kinds of organisations committed to identifying innovative opportunities that meet the needs and suit the interests of their users.

In this course, you’ll explore and apply Service Design tools to a challenge, to give you a comprehensive vision of how service design works. We cover every stage of the process, leaving no stone unturned.

A systemic, analytical, collaborative, practice-based course to create targeted user experiences.

During this course, taught in English, you’ll discover which tools professional designers use, and learn how to apply them to innovative service design solutions.

It’s a hands-on learning process that gives you first-hand experience in problem analysis, finding opportunities and proposing creative solutions to meet users’ specific interests and needs.

 

The Summer Course in Service Design for Innovation is for professionals, executives and CEOs from all sectors of industry who want to lead the field in service innovation.

This course is for those who want to find out how to solve complex problems in multidisciplinary teams, using innovation to turn Service Design into a competitive advantage over other companies in their sector.

 

It's the ideal course for aspiring leaders who want to make a difference in service innovation and problem-solving.

In a practice-based learning experience, you’ll learn the ins and outs of service design, creating an authentic, functional prototype.

And you’ll be doing so at IED in Barcelona, while rubbing shoulders with international Service Design professionals. It's an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and know-how. What’s more, studying in Barcelona puts you right where the action is, in a hot spot of international service design.
