From the design of physical and virtual environments to the creation of services and experiences, the programme focuses on the environment, the positive development of ecosystems and the well-being of people.
In a society in full transformation, with new perspectives, habits, relationships and needs, interior design takes a step forward: it involves the design of experiences in any space, as well as services for different spheres, including the virtual world.
The Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design addresses the creation of these spaces and experiences from a sustainable point of view and from the circular design, technology and experimentation of new models for tourism and leisure, retail, mobility, culture and habitat.
A highly practical formal degree, where you will train under the guidance of prestigious industry professionals and carry out complementary activities in Design Labs, focusing on both soft skills and advanced technical competences.
An official Diploma with a global, international and future-oriented vision, related to the engagement with sustainability, lifestyles and the growth of one’s creative universe.
IED Madrid offers you its own official and unique curriculum, adapted to the needs and opportunities of the interior design professional field.
Our training programme, recognised annually with important awards such as the iFDesign Talent Awards and ADI-FAD medals, among others, is characterised by the use of a fundamentally practical methodology.
During these 4 years of training, you will not only grow as a future interior design professional, but also acquire fundamental knowledge: problem solving, sustainable thinking, teamwork, systemic thinking, strategic vision, etc.
At the end of your formative path, you will be able to develop projects of interior design
from their strategic conception, through experimentation and technical development, to communication and management. In addition, you will strengthen your identity and shape your portfolio according to your specific professional interests.
This official Diploma is ideal for people who wish to direct all their creativity and commitment towards values through the design of spaces and environments that improve people's lives.
Also for curious minds interested in the evolution of our lifestyles and the impact of technological advances on them.
The studies will prepare you for professional activity in all types and fields of interior design: physical, digital and strategic.
IED offers you the opportunity to obtain this official Diploma in Madrid, one of Europe's leading design cities.
With a predominantly practical approach, the programme includes experience in the two Design Laboratories, as well as a large number of collaborations and agreements with leading companies and a 360-hour internship to get a feel for the professional market.
Another aspect to be emphasised is the natural integration of sustainable thinking into the programme, which guarantees learning a design process capable of responding to new scenarios and European regulations on ecological transformation. Without forgetting the approach to the challenges from a strategic perspective, which enables the design of new services, experiences and spaces in accordance with new lifestyles.
