The challenge of dressing and telling: this Master's Degree in Fashion Styling and Communication is for the fashion stylists of the future creating new fashion image trends (styling, creative direction, fashion film, and more). It’s for up-and-coming professionals developing contemporary communication, branding and marketing strategies for fashion brands.

The course gives you more than just a taste of this future career; you’ll be collaborating on numerous projects with a variety of companies (luxury and high street brands, in showrooms, vintage stores, and more). You’ll acquire the theoretical and practical know-how you need to find solutions for the challenges of the modern fashion industry.

And you’ll cultivate a distinctive creative voice that sets you apart from other professionals, and learn to produce images for contemporary themes and narratives in a range of content formats: editorial, moving image and communication campaigns, to name a few.

By completing the Master's in Fashion Styling and Communication at IED Madrid, you will access interdisciplinary training that will complement your knowledge and enhance your skills, preparing you to be a unique profile in the professional market.

In addition to the subjects in the master's program, you can choose two of the five optional strands that make up the IED student's DNA. These training strands look at the tools that will make a difference to completing your professional profile.

Finally, you will be able to join in the development of a collaborative project in which students from different programs will come together to develop a unique project, all guided by leading professionals in the sector as tutors.

This master's degree is for people with a degree or diploma who want to start their career in the world of fashion by specialising in Fashion Styling, Creative Direction and Communication.

Syllabus

In this course you’ll acquire a grounding in the communication skills used in the design sector and specialise in areas such as event communication and digital tools. You’ll develop six projects in different fields to put what you’ve learned into practice.
