The professional role of the interior stylist is distinguished by his strength in the presentation and narration of an object or a space; his goal is to create a unique and evocative atmosphere that helps to poetically communicate, or better sell, new products as well as reposition older projects.
The course will start from a general overview to understand the value of interior styling in the communication of a project, the figure of the interior stylist, his skills and opportunities, the inspirations, the concept, the visual references and the creation of a style.

Through a cultural and temporal analysis, participants will be able to understand the use of interior styling in different eras and will be able to deepen a definition of past and present.

The principles of styling will also be analysed: within an advertising logic, for the creation of a catalogue or for the visual communication materials of a brand, and as a support to the presentation of products and projects, all through the understanding of a coherent, linear or emotional narration.
