The Instensive course in Interior Design promotes initial and comprehensive contact with the field of interior designer, emphasizing project development through practical labs. In this course, students will be instructed on how to develop harmonious, functional, and relevant environments. Leading professionals in the Brazilian interior design field will bring their expertise to the classroom. 

The course approach provides objective and practical instruction in various formats: classroom discussions, project development labs, workshops, lectures, and studio visits. Students will gain familiarity with the reality of what it is to be a professional in the field; learning about the processes and tools needed to develop interior design projects.

The course further provides a repertoire of solutions and architectural and visual references, offering various design methodologies for different kinds of spaces, and practical exercises for developing integrated interior designs. The course also covers the history of design and architecture, as well as the contempory context in these areas, and covers the basics of technical and constructive guidelines.

This course is indicated for people with an interest in Interior Design, or who want to start a design practice in the field. It serves professionals with training and/or experience in other areas, who wish to migrate to Interior Design, and to youth who are just beginning studies in the area.  

The course instructor is Bel Lobo, architect and founding partner of the firm, specializing in the development of retail projects. Bel also directs m.o.o.c., where she designs furniture and objects. Since 2011, she has been a host on the GNT subscription channel, presenting the programs “Decora” and “Lá Fora".
