This course will provide a broad overview of the most important aspects of managing a fashion business focusing especially on creative economy and small business models.
This course is for professionals with degrees in fashion, design, or marketing from outside Rio de Janeiro who want to specialise or are looking for a refresher course in management in the fashion field.
The course consists of 3 modules, of which module 1 is delivered online and mainly theoretical. Module 2 is an intensive 96-hour module delivered in the classroom at IED Rio. Module 3 is delivered online with complementary content and the development of a final project.

Glaucia Neves is the sole director of eConecta Marketing Consulting. She is a researcher and a postgraduate student in Social Communication at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). She studied journalism and obtained an MBA in marketing from the COPPEAD Graduate School of Business at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Neves has 25 years of professional experience in the fields of client management and marketing planning and has worked for companies, such as Infoglobo (which publishes O Globo newspaper) and Cantão/Redley. She has taught Communication and Marketing in prestigious institutions, such as the Communications School of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She also teaches in-company courses.
