A IED triumph at the Olivetti Design Contest

Alessandro Bonetti and Paolo Cavagna both study Product Design at IED Milano, in their second year, and are the authors of the Fiscal Printer project, which won them second prize in the “fiscal printers” category at the Olivetti Design Contest, third edition.

Their project is among the 21 finalists, coming from industrial design students of the most important Italian and international institutions  and it was awarded at Fiera Milano, among the opening events of the current Salone del Mobile, after evaluation by an exceptional jury: Pierantonio Macola (President of SMAU), Gaetano di Tondo (VP, Director of External and Institutional Relations), Beniamino de’ Liguori Carino (Secretary General of the Adriano Olivetti Foundation), Emanuele Cappelli (Designer) and Cristina Ghiringhello (Director of Confindustria Canavese).

To allow them to reach the podium the positive evaluation on four parameters: coherence of the project with the Olivetti values; originality of the project; functionality/ergonomy; aesthetic value.
