ADCI Awards 2019, IED triumphs with 2 golds
ON THE FINAL EVENING OF IF! ITALIANS FESTIVAL, IED WAS AWARDED THE FIRST ITALIAN SCHOOL IN THE ADCI RANKING AND 12TH OUT OF 64 AMONG THE AGENCIES AND SCHOOLS AWARDED THIS YEAR.
This year has been a record-breaking period for IED Communication students and all the school staff. In addition to the many national and international awards obtained in the recent months, there is also the ADCI AWARDS, the most important italian award for creativity and quality in advertising communication from the Italian Art Directors Club. IED was the protagonist of the Student Category with 8 projects in shortlist (out of a total of 12 in the category), including 6 for IED Milano and 2 for IED Roma.
The prizes, 2 GOLDS (First Prize), the SILVER(Second Prize) and the BRONZE (Third Prize), were awarded on the final evening of IF! Italians Festival on November 9, and which decreed IED as the 1st Italian school in the ADCI ranking and 12th among the 64 agencies and schools awarded this year. The winning projects come from multidisciplinary teams of the Undergraduate courses in Communication Design, specialized in Art Direction and Copywriting and Content Design.
The two IED Milano projects awarded on the podium with the GOLD prize were:
The Resurrected menu – for Burger King by Emma Bertinotti, Giorgia Trentani, Chiara Mandaradoni (Art director) and Alessandro Gemignani, Giacomo Croxatto (Copywriter), led by teachers Alessandro Candito and Matteo Grandese.

The SILVER one went to The Binge Walking – for NETFLIX, by Art directors Emma Bertinotti, Giorgia Trentani, Chiara Mandaradoni and Copywriters Alessandro Gemignani, Giacomo Croxatto, led by teachers Alessandro Candito and Matteo Grandese.
The BRONZE, eventually, was conquered by IED Roma by the students Tommaso Sardara and Mauro Conte with the project Made in Italy che non conosci – for Caritas, under the guidance of professor Massimiliano Traschitti.
