IED at Perú Moda 2019

Last April was held in Lima, Peru, the 22nd edition of Perú Moda. The event was aimed at showing the best of Peruvian fashion industry and design to the world, and promoting contact among companies, professional designers and new talents and international buyers.

BELIEVE TO BE SUSTAINABLE was the main theme of this edition of Perú Moda 2019, displaying that creativity and conscious design can work in harmony and use the impact of the industry to promote a positive social and environmental change.

Peruvian fashion highlights the beauty of good manufactures, encouraging sustainability through the balance between nature, fashion, and society.

IED – Istituto Europeo di Design was among the International Institutions that took part to the fair with a stand, where participants had the possibility to ask for information and learn more about the fashion projects developed by the students, as well as about the academic offer.

Furtheromre, IED awarded the talent of Peruvian design and creativity offering two scholarships for their Summer courses in Spain and Italy, to be held in 2019. One of them received the award from the Designer Kenichi Sato and the second one from the Designer Diego Flores, winners of the contest Young Creators to the World.
