IED at the Lima Design Week

From November 5th to 17th 2019, the 7th edition of the Lima Design Week will take place. This year it will have activities in different points of Lima City, Perú.

LDW serves as a platform to integrate art, culture and different manifestations of design, whose objectives are to spread the importance of design as a link for social development, connect local, national and international creative communities and promote creativity and innovation. For thirteen days, Lima will enjoy various cultural and artistic activities, such as exhibitions in galleries, workshops, commercial circuits, seminars and conferences where specialized national and international exhibitors will participate.

LDW will offer its attendees many integrated educational, cultural and design routes, carried out in different districts of the city, with a varied agenda of activities, where an exchange of knowledge between professionals will be possible and will generate new business opportunities.

As part of LDW, there will be also an exhibition of the best projects that took part in the Second International Biennial of Architecture, Design and Landscape 2017-2019. IED will reward the winner Project of this Biennial with a scholarship for a Summer course in 2020.

IED will also give the conference Design that changes cities. The creative economy as an engine of urban transformation by José Francisco García, Director of IED City Lab and Development Manager of IED Innovation Lab-Madrid.
