IED Firenze receives accreditation
“The accreditation of the courses provided by the Florence campus is a new starting point for an 8-year-long relationship with this rich and stimulating territory in constant dialogue with the world” says IED Firenze director Alessandro Colombo – “Staff and teachers alike have put their hearts and commitment in training young professionals in the fields of fashion, design and visual arts. Some of our former students now hold important positions in both local and international companies and it is thanks to their talents that we were able to secure collaborations with renowned corporations such as Adidas, Tods, Unicoop, alongside many others.”
Just like IED’s other satellite campuses in San Paolo, Madid, Barcelona, Milan, Rome, Turin and Cagliari, now the Florentine branch of the Istituto Europeo di Design will issue a First Level Academic Degree certificate equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree or a First Level university degree.
Following the ministerial decree n. 357 of May 30th 2017, starting from the Academic Year 2016/2017 the Ministry of Education has authorized the Florentine campus to issue First Level Academic degree certificates (180 ECT) within the framework of Italy’s AFAM system.
