IED IN LIMA VISUAL, October 27-29, 2021
IED Istituto Europeo di Design, participates once again in ISIL Peru’s Lima Visual taking place from October 27-29, 2021.
José Manuel Fernández, Program Leader and Coordinator of IED’s Master in Interior Design in IED Kunsthal Bilbao and Barcelona, will offer a lecture titled “eMo-designing the spaces of tomorrow.” José Manuel is an architect and interior designer based in Barcelona. Master in Interior Design from IED Barcelona 2004. In 2005 he began to work as head coordinator of the interior design and architecture department at the Lagranja design studio. Since 2012 he has managed the studio’s projects in China, Turkey, Singapore, Morocco, Dubai and France. He has worked as a teacher and visiting professor at different design schools.
The conference will be about Emo-designing the spaces for tomorrow and will address how in a massively digital and globalized environment, where artificial intelligence threatens to break into our daily lives, design must be the tool that connects the avant-garde with what makes us indisputably different from machines: emotion.
Lima Visual is a Design, Communication and Advertising conference organized by ISIL for students, teachers, professionals and general public alike. A space to share experiences aligned with the “Learn by Doing” philosophy and the constant search for professional updating, which this year now reaches its seventh edition.
