IED Rome partners for thesis projects of three-year courses

Universal Pictures International Italy, Oluce, City of Rome, Capitoline Museums, Birra Peroni: discover all the IED partnerships involved in the thesis projects of the three-year courses of the Rome campus.

This year at IED Rome students had the opportunity to work on thesis projects involving important brands and companies. Strategic partnerships that allowed students of the three-year courses of the Istituto Europeo di Design in Rome to personally experience design culture, to deal with the dynamics, timing and objectives of the working world.

Thanks to interdisciplinary thesis projects, students also had the chance to engage with different academic areas and topics. Collaborations between the Schools of Design, Fashion, Visual Arts and Communications gave rise to multidisciplinary design experiences like those of The Museum of Museums and Bike Rome. The former, in collaboration with the Capitoline Museums of Rome, aimed to convey the experience of the ancient through the development of strategies to engage the general public in the discovery and understanding of the legacy of our history.

Cycling mobility and promotion of the environmental and cultural heritage of the city of Rome distinguish Bike Rome, creative bicycle tourism serving the city in collaboration with the Municipality of Rome and Zehus Human +: the students were involved in the design of an infobike centre within the Mattatoio di Testaccio, prototypes of a bicycle for Rome, not to mention apps, publishing projects, multisensory visual and sound experiences, communication strategies, advertising campaigns, apparel and innovative accessories for the urban cyclist.

Finally, Birra Peroni, Universal Pictures International Italy, Wind and Tre, Europa Gestioni Immobiliari, Oluce and Fendi are some of the important partners that assigned the students particularly challenging projects.
