An exhibition of creations that facilitate and open the mind to new worlds, from Graphics to Fashion Design, from Product Design to Creative Direction courses, to try to intercept the dreams and needs of each and every one. In collaboration with the Fondazione Diversity.
IED Milano theather space (via Pompeo Leoni 3) becomes, on 19th and 20th September, one of the widespread venues of the Festival delle Abilità, which reaches its fifth edition, organized by Fondazione Castorina Onlus and blog Invisibili (Corriere della Sera).
IED presents the exhibition Design inclusivo: un viaggio multidisciplinare. Una mostra di creazioni che facilitano e aprono “mondi”, with the the results of projects and final graduation projects from the students of Graphic Design, Fashion Design and Shoes & Accessories Design at IED Milano, from Fashion and Textile Design at Accademia di Belle Arti Aldo Galli - IED Network, as well as from Product and Interior Design at IED Roma and Master programmes at IED Milano.
THE CONTENTS
What emoticons for blind people (designed to convey intentions and emotions in writing texts) have in common with the aesthetic customization of a sport prosthesis? And what do they have in common with outfits and shoes that can adapt to any body and individual, regardless of their identity, gender, abilities?
It is the common approach to Design, which is declined through different looks and languages, able to overcome the barriers with creativity.
On 19 September, at 6.30 pm, a talk will explore the theme of design for each and every one, moderated by Mia Vilardo (IED teacher, Brand Consultant and Creative Project Manager) and Alon Siman-Tov (Coordinator of Shoes & Accessories Design program at IED Milan and of Fashion and Textile Design program at Accademia Aldo Galli - IED Network)

The exhibition, in collaboration with Fondazione Diversity (a thesis partner for the fashion area in Milan) can be visited on both days from 11am to 8pm. Free entry.
