Date

10 August 2023

The presentation of the shortlisted projects and the awards ceremony will take place on 19 October in Barcelona

“Timeless” by Dar Rubinstein and “Giro” by Jacobo Cobián Sánchez, alumni of IED Barcelona and IED Madrid respectively, are among the 24 projects shortlisted for the 6th edition of the gaudeamusPROJECTA awards. These awards recognise and celebrate academic excellence in final degree projects in Graphic Design. To participate, it is necessary to have obtained a minimum grade of notable (very good) in these projects presented in education centres throughout Spain during 2022.

The gaudeamusPROJECTA awards not only recognise the authors of the proposals, but also their tutors and academic institutions. In the case of “Timeless”, the project was supervised by Mery Glez, Director of Visual Communication at IED Barcelona, while Joel Blanco, Visual Arts Tutor at IED Madrid, did the same with “Giro”.

The presentation of the shortlisted projects and the awards ceremony will take place on 19 October at the Archive of the Crown of Aragon (Lloctinent Palace) in Barcelona.

Good luck to all!
