IED takes part in the TRAMA project, a two-year initiative co-financed by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.

IED Spain becomes an essential part of the TRAMA initiative, a two-year project which aims to tackle issues connected to the fashion industry and the impact it has on our environment.

In particular, a group of partners from different countries, specializations, and expertise, will work together to find concrete solutions to make the fashion industry more sustainable and ethical. To do so, they will study the competencies of a transparency manager, a new professional role specialized in understanding the fashion value chain to ensure that fashion brands are moving towards more sustainable and ethical practices.

This new professional role works as part of the value chain offering guidance for improvement from the inside or within a third-party assessor. Its main task is associated with setting up the value chain to be evaluated with a scale, such as the Fashion Transparency Index, used to give an illustrative look at how much brands know and share about the human rights and environmental impacts across their value chains.

This project is co-financed by the Erasmus+ program of the EU and has the collaboration of the Athens University of Economics and Business, Fashion Revolution Czech Republic, Framework, and Wly.
