The objective of the project was to facilitate the work of the medical professional and making the test more bearable for the patient.

Ema, by Anastasiia Kuliabina - IED Barcelona product design student, enables electrocardiogram (ECG) tests to be performed wirelessly. The cables are replaced with sensors that are synchronized with each other, which send the readings to a receiver. The idea is that future scenarios can be foreshadowed in which health care, especially first aid care, takes center stage. The proposal involves thinking from the point of view of the products, furniture elements or accessories but at the same time of the spaces and/or services with its requirements at the level of usability, atmosphere, lights, emotional, functional and aesthetic aspects.

The project was shortlisted as finalist of the IF Design Talent Award 2021 and ADI FAD Awards 2020.
