The objective of the IED Madrid Design School, through its Official Undergraduate Degree in Design, its Official Undergraduate Degree in Interior and its Masters Courses, is to train professionals capable of anticipating and solving the challenges and needs of the market and present-day society in the field of design; proposing innovative, effective solutions with a commitment to the sustainable development of the environment.

- Interior Design

Upon graduating, all students will be prepared to work as designers, defining both spaces and products, developing plans, directing projects and presenting them using digital media. They will possess the analytical and critical abilities that will allow them to understand the potential needs of users, translating them into shapes and spaces that can be produced using the latest technology, selecting what is most appropriate for each case.

Some of the program’s most noteworthy characteristics are:

- The continuously updated academic content, collaboration with active industry professionals, collaboration with companies and institutions starting from the first year, participation in national and international design competitions, and promoting students at national and international exhibitions and fairs.

This training is completed with a broad cultural base and providing students with the learning and research tools essential for designers to be able to develop their work in a constantly changing market.
