BECOMING A IED STUDENT

Below you can find the steps that you will have to complete in order to enter the community of IED students. Please check details for each kind of course in the appropriate section and in the downloadable pdf document.

BEFORE APPLYING

Choose a course

The educational offer of IED group includes many programs at  Undergraduate level (First Level Academic Diplomas, BAH, IED Diplomas), and Master level, but also Continuing Education Courses (Summer,  Semester/One Year programs) or Specialization Courses.

Using the section COURSES located above, you will enter a research panel allowing you to find easily the most suitable program for your needs.

If you need further information on a course use the Request Information button at the top of the course webpage. A IED Advisor will get in touch with you soon.

Verify the admission requirements

Every category of course has a different admission process, for this reason, we invite you to check carefully the specific section of this webpage and the downloadable pdf documents.  You will be able to know the  specific admission procedures, the deadlines, and the required documents for your course of choice by clicking on the left side on the “type of course” that you have chosen.

Check the prices, scholarships and financial aid

IED wants to offer to gifted and deserving students, who are in difficult financial conditions, the possibility to contribute to the Institute enhancement with their talent. IED promptly notifies the scholarship opportunities and the available financial help through its website. The website www.creativecontexts.com puts together all scholarship opportunities, your Advisor will be glad to explain further possibilities.

Follow the section NEWS, EVENTS and WORKSHOPS that you find on the pages of the different IED cities, and be always informed about the meetings that IED organizes for your career orientation.

HOW TO ENROL

Start the Online Admission Process through Apply Now button in the webpage of the course of your choice or getting in touch with your Advisor. You will be given access to a personal area where you can follow your Admission Process on http://admission.ied.it  

Prepare and send the required documents

Fill in and sign the Pre-Admission Form and send it to the school enclosing the requested documents, listed in the admission procedure. IED will inform you about the result of the evaluation process, and will start the admission process.

Complete the Admission Interview

After receiving all the required documents, IED will schedule a date for the admission interview, consisting in a motivational interview and/or a language test following the specific procedure explained in the relevant admission process.
After Admission, you will be able to complete the matriculation process by signing documents and paying the enrollment fee specified in the Pre-Enrolment Form.

AFTER THE ENROLMENT

Apply for a Visa

If you are a non-EU student, please go to the Italian Embassy of your country in order to apply for the proper Visa. You will find the main information and the necessary documents in the Admission Process. Should you have any more question, please contact the local Italian authorities in your country.

Complete the payment of the tuition fees

After the enrollment, you will have to pay the tuition fees and, if needed, the Prerequisite language course fees, following the indications of the admission process, in order to complete all the payments.

Attend the Italian or English language placement test **

If you have been admitted with the obligation of following the “Prerequisite”  language course, you will have to come to the Institute during the first days of September (you will be informed about the exact dates after the enrollment) in order to attend the placement test, and be included in the class with the most suitable level).

Attend the course presentation

Before starting the official lessons, you will be invited to attend the presentation of your corse: during this meeting, you will be given all the specific information about your classes, you will receive some information material and will meet IED staff.

At the end of the process, you will be a IED student ready to start your IED new experience!
