We are the largest European network of Art and Design schools.

With over 10,000 students, 11 campuses distributed across 3 countries, a cultural Hub in New York and an international community of more than 200,000 Alumni, IED is a global reference point for design culture.

Since 1966, it has been training professionals capable of interpreting and guiding the evolution of the creative industries, combining vision, critical thinking, experimentation and connection with the professional world.

We are an inclusive, transdisciplinary school that uses design as a universal language for change.

We have partnerships with universities and academies and are members of major international academic networks such as, for example, Cumulus, Elia and WDO.
