Interior, Product and Mobility Design
From the Design of Spaces and Products to the Mobility of the Future
The Interior, Product and Mobility Design area focuses on training professionals capable of operating in the design of spaces, products and mobility systems through an approach that integrates technical competencies, design methodologies and awareness of social and technological transformation processes
The learning path develops the ability to respond to contemporary and future needs through the design of environments, objects and systems that consider quality of life, technological evolution and social impact as fundamental parameters.
The teaching methodology is based on the integration of creativity, technical competence, sustainability and digital innovation, prioritising a critical and conscious approach to design. The learning process develops through research activities, analysis of reality and applied experimentation.
Students acquire the ability to develop projects that respond to complex requirements, operating in contexts characterised by continuous evolution and requiring interdisciplinary competencies.
Interior and Spatial Design
Training of designers capable of intervening in private, public and commercial spaces, with particular attention to the relationship between form, function and identity. Design activity involves physical and digital environments, the study of materials, lighting, colour and comfort, with integration of sustainability and innovation criteria.
Product and Service Design
Design of objects, systems and services through a user-centred approach focused on social impact. Courses address the study of materials, technologies, ergonomics and production processes, integrating design thinking and prototyping methodologies.
Transportation and Mobility Design
Study of mobility through the design of vehicles and systems that integrate aesthetic, functional, technological and sustainability aspects. Application areas include vehicle design, automotive interiors, human-machine interfaces and urban and shared mobility scenarios.
Competencies and Professional Prospects
The learning pathways in the Interior, Product and Mobility Design area develop solid and transferable design competencies, applicable in diverse professional contexts. Graduates acquire tools to interpret complex scenarios and develop design solutions oriented towards improving quality of life, transforming spaces and redefining mobility.
Trained profiles operate in fields such as product design, interior design, lighting design, urban services and sustainable mobility, collaborating with design studios, companies, public bodies and multidisciplinary organisations oriented towards innovation and ecological transition.
