Fashion is a language that reflects the spirit of the times, intertwining identity and diversity while responding creatively and consciously to contemporary challenges.
During the three-year Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, you will learn to manage the entire creative process necessary to design a fashion collection—from researching sources of inspiration to translating an idea into a finished product—gaining an understanding of the interwoven meanings and material implications embedded in the fashion system.
In state-of-the-art textile workshops, you will develop the technical skills required to independently create garments and accessories, strengthening your tailoring skills while exploring the culture of materials and textile technology that underpin collections. At the same time, you will engage with digital technologies, allowing you to steer your research towards experimental and innovative design outcomes.
This hands-on, studio-based approach is integrated with the development of a broad visual culture, combining fashion history, critical insights in the arts, and a keen observation of contemporary social and cultural dynamics. These elements are essential for expanding research directions, understanding fashion trends, and enhancing the level of experimentation within your projects.
Through this approach, over the course of three years, you will develop your stylistic and creative identity, refining your critical perspective on the complex dynamics of contemporary fashion. You will also gain awareness of environmental and social responsibility within the fashion industry and its expressive codes.
Throughout this journey, you will be guided by a faculty that includes leading professionals from both national and international contexts. You will have the opportunity to engage with brands, businesses, and industry hubs, collaborating on real-world briefs and receiving mentorship in developing your own projects.
Thanks to this continuous dialogue with the industry, you will be able to explore various aspects of fashion design, from clothing collections to textile design and knitwear, from shoes and accessories to increasingly relevant sectors such as activewear and adaptive design.
