A presentation of the volume dedicated to one of the most original figures in contemporary design culture

IED Firenze hosts the presentation of Alessandro Poli. From Radical Architecture to Material Culture, published by Quodlibet and dedicated to the intellectual and design journey of one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary design culture.

The event is open to the public and offers an opportunity to explore the thought and legacy of Alessandro Poli, a key figure in Italian Radical Architecture and in the broader reflection on material culture.

The event will open with remarks by Benedetta Lenzi, Director of IED Firenze. The discussion will be moderated by Giacomo Pirazzoli, University of Florence and Manuel Orazi, editor at Quodlibet.

Speakers include Pino Brugellis, editor of the volume; Pietro Gaglianò, art critic and contributor to the book; Elisabetta Trincherini, IED Firenze lecturer and author of one of the essays featured in the publication and Giovanni Bartolozzi, who also contributed an essay dedicated to Poli’s research and work.

The event is organized in collaboration with Libreria Brac, which will make copies of the book available for purchase during the evening.
