The international collective Constructlab brings together design and architecture professionals, local stakeholders and students to share experiences, connect initiatives and build potential partnerships
From 25 to 28 November, IED Kunsthal Bilbao will host the annual gathering of the international Constructlab network in the city for the first time. The network develops projects related to design, architecture and collaborative construction, encouraging community participation and collective creative processes.
As part of the meeting, third-year students from the Official Bachelor's Degrees in Interior Design and Product Design at IED Kunsthal Bilbao will take part in a practical workshop on 25 and 26 November, with the results presented on Saturday 28 November.
The programme also includes a talk for students on Thursday 26 November, during which members of Constructlab will share their experience and approach to collaborative working.
Finally, on Saturday 28 November, from 17:00 to 20:00, IED Kunsthal Bilbao will host an open gathering bringing together Constructlab members and local stakeholders. The event aims to connect professionals from the international network with local organisations and practitioners, providing an opportunity to share experiences and initiatives and explore potential collaborations. Students who took part in the workshop will also participate, presenting the conclusions of their work.
