On May 25, starting at 6:00 PM, IED Comunicazione presents HOT SPOT NIGHT, a special evening dedicated to some of the most iconic, memorable and powerful ads ever made.
Conceived as a true night marathon, the event will bring to the classroom a curated selection of commercials from around the world, to be watched like in a cinema, not like in a class. It will be a journey through different languages, eras, cultures and formats, exploring advertising as storytelling, collective imagination and a form of entertainment capable of leaving a lasting mark.
The evening will be animated by five exceptional guests from the fields of communication, creative direction, filmmaking and copywriting: Cinzia Pallaoro, Executive Creative Director at Leagas Delaney Italia; Nico Carrassi, Founder and Creative Director at rude; directors Danilo Carlani and Alessio Dogana; and Roberto Schettino, copywriter at Leo Italia, IED alumnus and Portfolio Night All-Stars Grand Prize Winner.
Through their perspectives, students will explore some of the most significant campaigns in the history of communication, looking at them not only as advertising content, but as cultural objects able to reflect their time, anticipate new languages and shape contemporary visual culture.
The event will take place at IED Piranesi, Room P001, for an evening celebrating the power of ideas, images and stories that stay with us.
