Telling Fashion Today: Editorial Visions and New Imaginaries
How is fashion storytelling shaped today? Which images, languages, and visions define the contemporary imagination?
IED Firenze welcomes Francesca Ragazzi, Head of Editorial Content at Vogue Italia, for a conversation exploring the evolution of fashion publishing and the new perspectives of fashion storytelling. An opportunity to delve into the role of visual and cultural narratives in contemporary fashion, where creativity, identity, and media transformation intersect.
An open dialogue on editorial content, aesthetic research, and the emerging scenarios of fashion communication.
Francesca Ragazzi is Head of Editorial Content at Vogue Italia, where she oversees editorial operations, strategy, and brand vision across all platforms. She reports directly to Anna Wintour, Chief Content Officer of Condé Nast and Global Editorial Director of Vogue. Francesca studied Modern Literature at Sorbonne University in Paris and began her career shortly after graduating at the Paris office of Vogue Italia in 2010, first as an intern and then as a correspondent. Curious and always on the move, she went on to work for Vogue US as European Fashion Associate before relocating, shortly afterwards, to the New York headquarters as Fashion Market Editor. Before assuming her current leadership role in 2021, she served as Fashion Market Director at Vogue Italia. Throughout her career, she has benefited from the mentorship and guidance of leading editors including Anna Wintour, Edward Enninful, Virginia Smith, Emanuele Farneti, Grace Coddington, and Tonne Goodman. Over her 15-year career at Condé Nast, Francesca has gained extensive experience across the Italian, French, and American markets, equipping her with the perspective to develop both global and local storytelling, foster sustainable business practices, and uphold high standards of quality journalism.
