Silvia Brandi will be the fifth creative to take part in the second season of IED MUSES Talks, the series of inspirational talks promoted by the Istituto Europeo di Design.

On 6 May at 6:30 pm, the renowned Milanese architect and cultural manager, co-founder and director of FarmLab in Austria, will explore topics such as new materials, product design, sustainability, 3D printing and advanced architecture at IED Barcelona. During the talk, she will also reveal the inner workings of the international collaborative projects she is involved in, aimed at revitalising rural areas through culture and creativity.

Throughout her career, Brandi has worked at the experimental Barcelona-based studio Mias Architects, has served as General Manager of the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC), a leading centre for research and education on the future of cities, and has led educational projects at Abacus Cooperativa based on a STEAM approach, introducing robotics and digital technologies into the Catalan school system. She has also headed the Fixing the Future Festival, an international event showcasing creative, design-driven solutions for a fair and sustainable future.
