Two talks exploring how design, data, and artificial intelligence can create new forms of collaboration and community in the digital age.
In a hyper-connected yet often fragmented world, information moves faster than we can process it, while artificial intelligence increasingly permeates our daily lives. We often feel alone, disconnected from others and from the environment around us. IED Square Turin offers a moment of reflection and exchange, exploring how design, data, and AI can become tools to build deeper, more aware, and collaborative communities, turning uncertainty into an opportunity for collective imagination.
The day features two distinct talks: from 9:30 to 11:00, Damiano Gui, Senior Advisor in Strategic Design for Havas CX, will present Virtual, invisible, empty: the dark forest of digital spaces, exploring the value of what we do not share and the invisible roots on which resilient communities can be built. From 11:30 to 13:00, Fabiola Nardecchia, AIX (UX & AI) Director, will lead the talk Data, AI and us. How data represents us in the age of artificial intelligence, examining intrinsic and extrinsic biases, and the role of ethics, design, and regulation in shaping the impact of data on our collective identity.
This is an opportunity to delve into essential topics of the digital era, from inclusion to data ethics, combining reflection with practical design tools.
