AI is transforming creative industries at lightning speed. The future feels unpredictable – but what if uncertainty could be your most powerful creative tool?
Artificial intelligence is reshaping the creative industries, creating exciting opportunities – but also new challenges. Many creative professionals feel what we might call FOBO (Fear of Being Obsolete): instability, constantly changing rules, and the impossibility of predicting the future.
But what is uncertainty wasn’t just a threat to manage, but a powerful tool to leverage?
Join Andrea Pinchi, IED Ambassador and Course Coordinator of the MA program in Interaction Design at IED Torino, as he explores how our brains naturally respond to uncertainty and how this knowledge can radically shift your creative approach. Through historical parallels, practical strategies, and interactive discussion, you’ll learn to cultivate Tolerance of Ambiguity: the trainable ability to stay comfortable with multiple possibilities, transform complexity into opportunity, and turn anxiety into excitement.
The session includes a lecture, Q&A and networking moment, plus a presentation of IED’s global network, academic programs and scholarship opportunities across design, fashion, visual communication, and innovation.
