OffiCine and IED Cinema close 2025 with a new Special Lecture open to the city, titled The Craft of Cinema: Paola Cortellesi – Between Film, Theatre and TV.
A director, screenwriter, actress (and singer), Paola Cortellesi will share with the audience her way of understanding cinema as a collective art form. The conversation will trace her journey from her early television appearances to her work in comedy as an actress, and finally to auteur cinema, also as a director.
A contemporary icon thanks to the versatility of her career and her balance of irony and social commitment, she is widely appreciated for her elegance and unconventional femininity, as well as for her dedication to a kind of cinema that serves as a vehicle for culture and rights.
The event will take place on Thursday, 11 December, at 7 PM, at IED Milan – Teatro Spaces, via Pompeo Leoni 3.
