Illustration, Images and Contemporary Visions
Italian illustrator, visual artist, author and IED alumnus based in New York, Emiliano Ponzi will lead a conversation exploring his visual universe and the relationship between image-making, storytelling, and contemporary experimentation.
A journey through publishing, advertising, installations, international exhibitions, and authorial projects, offering insight into a creative practice that moves across different languages and contexts while maintaining a distinctive visual and narrative identity.
An opportunity to explore the role of illustration and visual research within contemporary culture, between artistic practice, communication, and new forms of storytelling.
Emiliano Ponzi is an Italian illustrator, visual artist, and author based in New York. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with leading international brands and publications including The New York Times, The New Yorker, Apple, MoMA New York, Louis Vuitton, and Bulgari.
He has received numerous international awards, including Gold and Silver Medals from the Society of Illustrators of New York and the prestigious ADC Gold Cube. Alongside his editorial and commercial work, he develops exhibitions, installations, and publishing projects exploring the relationship between images, storytelling, and contemporary culture.
