Open exhibition of the final projects by students of the Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design.

On 25 June, IED Madrid Design District will open its doors to the public to showcase the Final Degree Projects developed by students of the Bachelor's Degree in Higher Artistic Education in Graphic Design

Throughout the event, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the projects created by the graduating students and engage directly with the designers behind them. The exhibition will bring together students, faculty members, industry professionals and representatives of companies and institutions connected to the creative sector, creating a space for dialogue, exchange and reflection around contemporary design practice.

To conclude this event, we will have a dj set de Turian Boy.

The jury responsible for evaluating this year's final projects is composed of Diego Iglesias, Clara Saña, Oskar Ranz, Álvaro Carroquino, Marta Guardiet, Santos Henarejos (Paseo Studio) and Sylvia Pérez Pérez

This academic year, all Graduation Projects at IED Madrid have been developed under the common theme “Times New”. Within the Graphic Design programme, this framework takes shape through “Times New Media", an invitation to explore how emrging technologies, digital environments and contemporary visual languages are reshaping the way we communicate and understand the world.

Times New Media

Designing for contemporary media means engaging with a landscape that is constantly evolving. Images, platforms and digital systems not only shape how information circulates but also influence how we perceive reality, construct narratives and interact with one another.

Under the concept of Times New Media, students have developed projects that investigate the impact of these transformations on visual communication. From editorial proposals and visual identities to interactive experiences and research-based projects, the exhibition showcases a wide range of approaches to understanding design within today's media ecosystem.

The projects reflect on the opportunities and challenges presented by an increasingly connected world, exploring how graphic design can help make sense of complex realities while imagining new possibilities for communication, participation and cultural exchange.

Through critical thinking, experimentation and innovation, the students demonstrate the role of design as a tool for interpreting the present and shaping the futures that lie ahead.
