IED presents a new multi-site exhibition that will travel to Madrid, Bilbao, and Barcelona, beginning with its first stop within the Madrid Design Festival program. After Madrid, the exhibition will move to IED Bilbao and IED Barcelona, creating a connected curatorial project across the three campuses.
The exhibition offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the totem through technology and innovation, incorporating a sustainable approach in the choice of materials. The work reflects cultural flow and constant change through a gesture of internal movement that becomes tangible in the space.
Visitors will explore an immersive environment, where a subtle mist and a soundscape, based on the movement of the piece and a blend of voices and sounds, create an enveloping atmosphere that guides the exhibition experience.
