The Italian Embassy in Tbilisi, in collaboration with IED - Istituto Europeo di Design, and Accademia di Belle Arti Aldo Galli - Como is holding a contest on the occasion of the event “Italian Design Days in Georgia – 2023”

The contest is co-organized in collaboration with Tbilisi’s Desk of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) under the theme “Enlightening quality. The energy of design for people and environment”.
The winner of the first prize will be granted a scholarship to study in the IED Summer Course “Digital Design and Fabrication: outdoor design” in Accademia di Belle Arti Aldo Galli - Como, Italy in June 2023.
The winner of the “Special Prize” will be granted access to IED Smart Creativity self-paced online learning platform until December 2023, and the winner of the "Jury Prize” will receive a surprise gift linked to Made in Italy.
Participants are therefore invited to create an original design project (which can be both related to interiors and / or buildings, or fashion design) recalling the beauty of Italian design, art and culture, specifically establishing a connection with Georgia’s design, art and culture.

Deadline for applications is April 26, 2023 (15:00 Georgian Standard time).
Winners will be publicly announced in Tbilisi!
